Hi there! Thank you for your comment and inquiry. The Odaiko used by Kenny Endo in this lesson is a 2.5-shaku Nagado Taiko (approximately 30" in diameter). Check out all of our taiko courses on kadon.com!

Hello! The TimbreTaiko device by itself just has sound. However, if you connect a phone or computer to the TimbreTaiko, you could record the sound onto those devices and play it through there. If you'd like the electronic taiko device itself to carry these specific functions, we'd recommend the Roland Taiko-1, which we also carry on our site. Hello, how many TimbreTaikos can we use simultaneously (like a drum set or an octapad for example), so we can have and play different sounds loaded at once?
You can connect multiple kaDON TimbreTaiko using AUX cables, but if you'd like to connect more than three, we suggest using a mixer. We've tried up to five units connected to a mixer and then to a speaker.
@@kaDON Thanks for the reply. So to understand it even more better: I have to take the MAIN OUT of the first TimbreTaiko and plug it into the AUX IN of the second TimbreTaiko, then the MAIN OUT of the second unit to the AUX IN of the third TimbreTaiko and so on, right?
@@Musical.Maze.1 Yes, exactly right. You can connect the third unit to a headphone or speaker to hear all three. Each TimbreTaiko will require its own power source and using a power bank is highly recommended over connecting them to a USB hub to ensure stable electric current.
